SELF-CONTAINED CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THE M-FIRE LINE
With propane bottle storage, a built-in battery, a stand-alone control system, E-Stop button, and storage for the control cable and gas supply line, the M-FIRE Console is a full-featured add-on that streamlines the transportation and usage of the M-FIRE System and M-FIRE Active Props.
M-FIRE Deep Fat Fryer Prop
The M-FIRE Deep Fat Fryer Prop is used as an attachment to the M-FIRE System. When placed on top of the M-FIRE System the M-FIRE Deep Fat Fryer Prop demonstrates the explosive effects of introducing water to a grease fire.
The Fryer bin is filled with 1 liter of cooking oil and the water container is filled with 200ml of water. The M-FIRE heats the cooking oil until it reaches its ignition point and begins burning. Using the M-FIRE Console the “option” button is pressed and the water is dumped into the burning oil. The water instantly turns to steam and expands rapidly causing the grease to atomize and ignite resulting in a large explosion. This demonstration has a powerful effect on trainees and shows the importance of using the correct agent on each class of fire.
The deep fat fryer lid can also be used to show how to safely extinguish a grease fire.
The M-FIRE Bed is an active prop with built-in burners and ignition systems for full-scale training. Burners in the bed, pillow and adjoining bed stand are controlled with the M-FIRE Console to create a number of challenging scenarios.
A wide range of fire extinguishers and hose reels can be used to extinguish the M-FIRE Bed Prop.
Multiple burners create desktop and drawer fires on this full-scale desk prop. Operated with the M-FIRE Console, the instructor has full control over the evolution and can operate each burn zone independently. Built-in flame detection systems enable the prop to shut down when the trainee has successfully extinguished the flames, signaling a successful evolution. The M-FIRE Flatscreen or any other M-FIRE attachment can be placed on the desktop fire to further challenge trainees.
The M-FIRE Rack simulates an industrial storage rack with three shelves. Operated with the M-FIRE Console, the M-FIRE Rack has two fire units that can be controlled simultaneously or independently. A wide range of add-on props, such as simulated paint and aerosol cans, can be placed on the shelves to challenge trainees to recognize hazards such and respond appropriately.
With stove-top and ventilation hood fires, the M-FIRE Stove is designed to provide full-scale training for kitchen fire scenarios. Controlled with the M-FIRE Console, the M-FIRE Stove has a stove-top burner with high-fire and low-fire settings to simulate common cooking fires. An additional burner in the ventilation hood simulates the ignition of built-up grease above the stove-top. The burners can be operated independently or together for a wide range of training scenarios.
