M-FIRE TRAINING SYSTEM
>MODULAR FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING SYSTEM
>FULL SCALE FLAMES IN A PORTABLE PACKAGE
The M-FIRE is a versatile fire training system that produces full-scale flames in a highly portable package. Multiple fire intensity levels, a wide range of props and pre-programmed fire scenarios give you the tools to prepare your personnel to safely handle a fire.
Built-in wheels and pull handle make the M-FIRE easily transportable by one person. The slim profile means the M-FIRE can be transported from training site to training site in virtually any vehicle.

M-FIRE FEATURES

DIRECT IGNITION AND DRY BURNER SYSTEM

The M-FIRE utilizes direct ignition and a dry burner system to produce flames at the push of a button. This eliminates the time required for a pilot to ignite and be recognized before the burners can be lit. It also means that you don’t need to transport any additional water to fill the tray before a training session. Simply plug the M-FIRE into a 12V power supply and connect the propane supply line, push start and you’re ready to train.

MULTIPLE FIRE SETTINGS

Multiple fire scenarios can be achieved with the M-FIRE training system’s unique combination burner design. Using the hand-held controller, select Scenario A and an intense fire is generated from the M-FIRE system’s center burner. Select Scenario B for a quickly spreading fire that engulfs the full footprint of the M-FIRE via the diffusion burner. The central burner is also ignited at the low-fire setting and challenges students to coat the base of the fire and “fuel” with agent. Select Scenario C for a stubborn fire generated from the central burner on the low-fire setting.

PRE-PROGRAMMED FIRE SCENARIOS

Challenge trainees with the realistic flame response of the M-FIRE pre-programmed scenarios.
AutoFire A - When set to AutoFire A, the M-FIRE produces a growing fire scenario. The center burner is ignited on the low-fire setting. If the trainee hasn’t successfully extinguished the flames after 20 seconds the diffusion burner ignites. If the fire is still not out after another 10 seconds, the center burner grows to the high-fire setting. The longer the fire burns, the more difficult it is to extinguish. If the trainee controls the fire and extinguishes the flames at any point in the scenario, the system automatically shuts-down signaling a successful evolution.

AutoFire B - The AutoFire B scenario simulates a fire with multiple re-ignitions. The flames first erupt from the diffusion burner and central burner on the low-fire setting. If the trainee knocks-down the flames the system will pause for two seconds before reigniting both burners. As the trainee continues to apply the extinguisher correctly, the flames will die down and pause again before reigniting. If the trainee is able to fully extinguish the fire after the second re-ignition, the system will shut-down signaling a successful evolution.

This scenario helps teach trainees to not turn their back on a fire and the importance of continuing to apply the extinguisher to control re-ignition.
AutoFire C - This scenario simulates a fire with flame surges and varying intensity levels. The scenario begins with central burner ignition on the high-fire setting. Throughout the evolution, the intensity varies from high-fire to low-fire on the central burner simulating flame surges caused by energized equipment, for example. If the trainee successfully extinguishes the fire the system shuts down signaling a successful evolution.

If the trainee is unable to extinguish the flames in any of the scenarios, the system shuts down after 60 seconds or when the instructor releases the ignition button.

M-FIRE SAFETY FEATURES

Built-in Safety Switch The M-FIRE handheld controller includes a safety switch that instantly shuts-down the flames when released.
Flame Detection Integrated flame detection from redundant flame sensors ensure that flames are present for gas to flow to the burners.
Dual Electronic Ignition The M-FIRE features two electronic ignition systems for quick and reliable start-up.
Overtemp Sensors Overheat sensors are integrated into the system and automatically shut-down the M-FIRE if an unsafe temperature is reached.
Start-Up Tone The M-FIRE produces a warning tone before each ignition.

M-FIRE PORTABILITY

With a streamlined design, built-in wheels and a retractable pull-handle, the M-FIRE is easy to transport from site to site. Efficient design allows the M-FIRE to stand-up to evolution after evolution of intense fire training while being portable enough to fit in virtually any vehicle.

The M-FIRE is constructed of all stainless steel components for corrosion resistance and durability.

M-FIRE PROPS

Challenge trainees to recognize the class of fire, select the proper extinguisher and use correct technique to put-out the fire with the M-FIRE Props. These robust props fit directly on top of the M-FIRE with the prop adapter plate. When used in combination with the AutoFire programs, these props produce highly realistic scenarios.

M-FIRE Dustbin

Teach trainees to stand back and aim the extinguisher to properly extinguish common dustbin fires with the M-FIRE Dustbin prop. Set the M-FIRE to Scenario A for a constant flame or AutoFire A to simulate a fire that grows in intensity until it is extinguished.

M-FIRE Stove Top

Simulate a stove-top grease fire with the M-FIRE Stove Top. Trainees can first use an extinguisher to knock down the flames and cover the chip-fryer to put the fire out. Simulated burners are included to add to the realism of the scenario. Set the M-FIRE to Scenario B for a constant flame, or select AutoFire B for a stubborn re-igniting fire scenario.

M-FIRE FlatScreen

Simulate a flatscreen TV or computer monitor with this electrical fire prop. Flames are fed through the bottom of the prop and erupt from the vents on the rear of the screen. Set the M-FIRE to Scenario C for a constant flame or AutoFire C to simulate electrical surges and bursts of flame.

M-FIRE Motor

With flames shooting from both ends of a large electric motor casing, the M-FIRE motor prop realistically simulates an overheated or shorting motor fire. Set the M-FIRE to Scenario C for a constant flame, or AutoFire C to simulate electrical surges and bursts of flame.

M-FIRE Electric Cabinet

As flames spread from inside the electrical cabinet, the working door on the M-FIRE Electric Cabinet can be used to teach trainees to isolate a fire and protect surrounding equipment by first knocking down the fire, then closing the door. Set the M-FIRE to Scenario C for a constant electrical fire flame, or AutoFire C to simulate electrical surges and bursts of flame.
