BREATHING APPARATUS TRAINING
>RECONFIGURABLE, INTERACTIVE TRAINING SCENARIOS
>PORTABLE OR FIXED BA TRAINING SYSTEMS

Experience realistic confined space situations. The HAAGEN Breathing Apparatus Training Gallery provides a challenging yet safe and controlled environment for training fire fighters on mask confidence and confined space operations.

BREATHING APPARATUS TRAINING GALLERIES

The HAAGEN Breathing Apparatus Training Gallery is a versatile modular system which can be expanded and adapted to suit the instructor’s training needs.
The entire exercise is monitored from a remote control room. Using a SCADA system, a visual representation of the entire gallery circuit, including each individual floor and room, can be displayed. Since the entire system is PLC operated, HAAGEN engineers are also able to monitor the training environment and remotely configure updates and upgrades depending on the needs of the client.

To further enhance the realism of the scenarios and provide additional challenges, a range of obstacles and special effects can be added to the training system. Moveable obstacles can require additional physical effort from the trainee, testing his or her stamina and making it even more critical that they manage their breathing techniques. Other options include fitting out the gallery with doors and hatches that can be opened or sealed with magnetic locks to vary the circuit.

Training simulation effects can be added included leaking gas pipes, valves that need to be shut off, and electrical systems that must be disconnected. The training environment can be lit or darkened, and rooms can be automatically filled with training smoke to further test trainees.
